China's R&D: Starting from Scratch

Research first in China and developed from blank

China began researching and developing gas mass flow controllers in the late 1970s, at a time when there was no transferable experience or technology. Fortunately, Factory 700, which undertook the task, attached great importance to this R&D mission. They selected a group of business backbones to form a task force, including high-achieving graduates from prestigious universities such as Tsinghua University, Peking University, and Shandong University, as well as a group of senior technicians with practical experience. They overcame many difficulties, constantly experimenting and exploring, and finally, 'hard work pays off.' Within a relatively short period, our company's first gas mass flow controller was successfully trial-produced.
