Recently, the after-sales department of Qixing Flowmeter has found that the problems of contaminated and corroded returned parts are relatively concentrated. In order to ensure the normal operation of everyone's equipment and save time costs during the repair process, Qixing Flowmeter has summarized the correct use of flowmeters / Precautions for flow controllers, for your reference:
、Gas Flowmeter / Flow controllers can only pass gas; do not introduce gas containing liquid. Once contaminated, they cannot be used normally;
、Special case: If compressed air needs to be introduced, it is recommended to install a dryer, as compressed air can produce condensation, which can easily cause product damage.
、When using corrosive gases ( HCL/H2S/CL2/SO2/NH3 etc.), ensure the sealing of the pipeline. It is recommended to use stainless steel pipelines and avoid contact with air. After passing corrosive gases, the pipeline must be purged with inert gas for at least ten minutes;
、When the control gas needs to be directly introduced into a liquid reaction or high-pressure system, prevent liquid or exhaust gas backflow. It is recommended to add a one-way valve at the rear end and ensure that the inlet pressure is greater than the rear end pressure!
、Once liquid is determined to have entered the product internally, purge with inert gas for 30 minutes or more, and ensure it is dry. Test whether it is controllable. If it is still uncontrollable, it needs to be returned to the factory for repair.
